Terms and Agreements
Your satisfaction with our services is very important to us. We will strive to go above and beyond to achieve our client’s needs and will do the best job possible to provide a most thorough cleaning. There may be a time or two that a pile is missed due to long grass, leaves, shadows, shade or even very bright sunlight. Please read about our ways that you can get the most out of our services.
If you notice that we are missing a specific area please let us know so we can make sure to focus on that area for you during future service visits.
We give a week free service for Referrals. Both you and the new client will receive one week’s service credited on your next and their first invoice. In order for new clients to qualify, they must sign up for monthly services at a minimum of one month.
We are committed to providing a year round reliable service, however in the event of extreme weather that prevents us from providing service we will try to make up any missed service visits within that same week of which we will communicate to you. If we are still unable to make up the missed service visit, we will be there on your next scheduled service date. If you pick up the waste in our absence, credit will be given. Otherwise please keep in mind that there will be twice as much for us to collect taking more time of which we will need to account for.
If we are unable to perform our duties at your location by no fault of our own, as a result for instance of a locked gate, lawn service or aggressive dog, you will still be charged for this service visit as the trip was made. Travel time is a necessary factor for us to figure into our rates as we work our routes around our client’s addresses. In addition, the waste will have accrued for two weeks by your next service visit.
If for some reason your yard does not need service, as long as we are notified ahead of time and the trip is not made, you will not be charged unless there is accrual on your next service visit in excess of one week. If you are a prepay advantage client, we will make the date adjustments and extend your service agreement accordingly.
We love visiting our dog pals and are fine with your dog being out during our visits.
However we need you to keep in mind that we are entering their territory uninvited with tools and rain gear of which can be very intimidating to a dog. We are usually able to befriend most dogs but there are those few cases that never accept our visits and have had to make arrangements with the owners to contain these dogs to prevent them from the stress of our visits. We ultimately have to ensure we provide a safe environment for our officers and ask you to consider your dog’s behavior under these circumstances.
Privacy standards are strongly enforced. We do not sell or share any of our client’s information. We will acquire specific information from our clients when they sign up for service that we need for billing, communication and job detail purposes.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, refuse or stop service based on the conditions of the over all job or if our officers at risk in any way. We will make an attempt to work through any issues with you ahead of time. Price adjustments would be made if initial clean up exceeds 30 minutes, for XL dogs, there are additional dogs or the area needing cleaning exceeds ½ acre.
You will be invoiced in advance on a monthly basis in an effort for us to receive payment within the same month our services are provided. We do not require you to sign a contract and either party can cancel at any time. For new clients we ask that payment is received upon our first service visit or payment arrangements are made ahead of time. We will need to receive payment for your first invoice prior to your next scheduled service visit. If you start with us mid-month, we will include the following month on your first invoice.
Late fees of $20 will be applied to accounts past due by 30 days. Service will be suspended at this point unless payment arrangements are made. Do know that we can be flexible and certainly understand that situations can arise prohibiting you from paying in a timely fashion. As long as you communicate with us ahead of time, we will be willing to work with you and will accept payment in increments if needed while keeping your service in tact. Once an account exceeds 60 days delinquency, it will be turned over to a collection agency and you will acquire their fees in addition to ours.
Returned checks will be charged to you at $25 per check in addition to owed service charges. If alternative payment is not received, service will be suspended.
Gift Cards and Certificates can not be returned for cash and can only be used towards Pooper Trooper dog waste management service. Recipient must be located within our service area in order to redeem. These can be transferred over to someone who is located within our service area.
Prepay advantage clients must commit to the dates reflected on their service agreement. If for any reason the client decides to cancel during their service term a cancellation fee will be charged as stated in the agreement. However for those clients who have only one dog and service must be stopped due to terminal illness or death exception will be made and no cancellation fee will be charged. Otherwise a refund for service visits remaining on the term minus the cancellation fee will be provided.
